I grew up in Lucknow, India. It was a small town with big dreams, so was I.
Following the tradition, I went to law school, practiced as a lawyer on the criminal side. After practicing law for a few years, I decided to quit and venture into a totally new world. And I went to New York, to start fresh. To live a life where I could do anything. I decided to study Photography & film direction.
Photographs for me have been about humans, and their emotions. Their actions and reactions. I believe my photographs are an honest reflection of my perception. A photograph for me is not about me or the subject or the moment. It is a feeling, a feeling shared and locked. For me it is a living being.
My photographs are made with everything in my heart and all my being. I feel lucky to be able to do so.
